From the beginning... read moreI had a very nice experience taking my level 1 SSI Free diving Course with Freedivenusa. From the beginning communication was always easy. They gave fast response whether it was through Instagram or through their email.
The course itself is a bit challenging for me who understand from begin that I have a bit of equalization problem and a fear to hold breath longer. However, Artur was a kind and patient instructor. His explanation is clear, helpful, and reassuring. Not to mention his state of calmness that made me feel at ease while in the same time also excited to try whatever he asked me to do. He didn’t push me to force myself, yet very persuasive in convincing that all will be well, and all I need to do is just relax, enjoy, and be natural in the water. Which I find to be a more effective method to get me to improve.
The school itself is located strategically, close to a few good restaurants and homestays to relax during your break. It is also a beautiful location; 30 seconds walk to the beach with beautiful snorkeling just a short swim away. The school provides well-maintained good-quality free diving equipment and a cozy setting to support the learning environment. All Freedivenusa instructors are highly experienced and professional who would make you feel that you are in good hands.
All in all, I felt very safe and well-taken care of by the school, and by Artur specifically as my instructor. The course has helped me gain confidence to push myself out of my fear in going deeper in to the deep blue by free diving. I’m totally hooked! And will keep the practice.
So, if you are thinking to do free diving in Indonesia, I highly recommend coming to Nusa Penida and do it with Freedivenusa! read less

My teacher was super patient, very knowledgeable and helped me push my limits without feeling any pressure. Chiara quickly saw that I would mentally block myself, she really talked and showed me through it.
Also, the owner was super accommodating and made sure I felt comfortable when on our manta trip and went out of his way to make sure we saw mantas. Would definitely recommend doing your freediving here and/or booking trips with them :) read less

My recent Manta Trip with Freedive Nusa was nothing short of amazing. The trip itself was a dream come true. We were fortunate enough to see over 20 mantas, and it was truly a mesmerizing sight. Our guide, Ray, was exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. The equipment provided was top-notch, and the freedive center itself was stunning. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It's definitely deserving of 5 stars! Thank you to the entire team for making this trip unforgettable. I personally recommend it to all freediving lovers who seek good focus, less partying island, delicious food and stunning nature environments! I did my level 3 SSI and Wave 3 Molchanov, master program and instructor courses and ever since I left I didn't stop missing the place. Ich habe bei Heiko meinen Freediving Level 2 Kurs über drei volle Tage gemacht. Er weiß definitiv was er tut und wie er den interessanten Stoff ansehnlich vermitteln kann. Der Kurs war sehr vielseitig und ich konnte viele Sachen ausprobieren, wobei Safety steht’s im Vordergrund stand. Ich konnte mich stets steigern und so mit einem guten Gefühl Nusa Penida verlassen.
Wir haben die Sessions stets mit einem Riff-Tauchgang beendet.
Der organisierte Manta-Trip war atemberaubend. Es waren Schwärme von Giant-Mantas zu sehen und gegen Ende ist Heiko mit uns erfahrenden Freedivern noch in eine Höhle getaucht.

He was so kind, patient and encouraging. Nothing was a problem. I now feel far more confident underwater. I honestly didn’t think I would be able to do it. But with Artur’s support, the impossible was attainable. I am able to take the skills I have learnt here and apply them to many other things that benefit with good breath work, relaxation and courage. Thanks so much Artur and team ❤️ read less
