The moment I saw our friends freediving happily, I knew I wanted to feel as calm and free under water, as they did.
So I took the course and I am more than happy. Now I can hold my breath without panic nor discomfort, whilst studying the wonderful underwater world. And I've never been so relaxed and happy in the water before.
My gratitude to the instructors is immeasurable. That was a breathtaking experience. I felt confident and safe during the whole process.
School is well equipped and cosy, situated close to the beach and nice cafes for the lunch break. There's a plenty of accomodation options around.
Not to mention the surroundings are truly beautiful. Home reef with a huge variety of fishes, turtles and other creatures. Endless opportunities to explore the deep blue. read less

It is like going home that is so familiar. For many years it was my dream to learn how to freedive. Yeah, I knew how to go underwater, but I didn't know how to do this right actually. So the 2 hour lesson at Nusa Dua Freedive School that I had with Heiko was really useful for me. It gave me introduction into the world of freedivers. During the whole lesson it was easy and very interesting to obtain information. Illustrative examples of my teacher made it easier to learn and to understand what to do in this or that cases.
I want to express my gratitude to my instructor Heiko Franken. Thanks to you now I know what I have to do to dive very deep. How to inhale and exhale. And what I don't have to do. Thank you for your support. And thank you for letting me dive for 14 meters. It was very pleasant and important for me to hear that I'm so natural in water. My instructor, Tim, was really encouraging and easy-going, but I could learn a lot from his as well.
I would definitely recommend to beginners and more advanced freedivers too. read less

It was an unbelievable experience I think about everyday. Kirill was an inspiring teacher, his teaching methods, calm, safe and poised personality and the fact that he really loves freediving made learning freediving easy and so fun.

My experience at Freedive Nusa has opened a door to a deeper love and appreciation of the ocean and our connection to it. Extending beyond freediving to pranayama, more confidence in my surfing, yoga and power of the mind. This course is for anyone who wants to learn more about themselves and the human body. Pretty rough ride to Manta Point (choppy waters!
Recommend medicating to prevent seasickness.

There are a lot of boats and a lot of people in the water. If you stay in the crowd, it's chaos! Pretty much guaranteed to get kicked in the face.

We swam away from the crowd, stayed at the edge (entrance/exit) and saw so many Manta rays!!
Guessing around 50...!!! Stopped counting after 20. 👏👏👏

Majestic, beautiful creatures.
Definitely recommend.

The waters are choppy and chilly.
So be prepared.
And enjoy the show!
