The moment I saw our friends freediving happily, I knew I wanted to feel as calm and free under water, as they did.
So I took the course and I am more than happy. Now I can hold my breath without panic nor discomfort, whilst studying the wonderful underwater world. And I've never been so relaxed and happy in the water before.
My gratitude to the instructors is immeasurable. That was a breathtaking experience. I felt confident and safe during the whole process.
School is well equipped and cosy, situated close to the beach and nice cafes for the lunch break. There's a plenty of accomodation options around.
Not to mention the surroundings are truly beautiful. Home reef with a huge variety of fishes, turtles and other creatures. Endless opportunities to explore the deep blue. read less

It is like going home that is so familiar. For many years it was my dream to learn how to freedive. Yeah, I knew how to go underwater, but I didn't know how to do this right actually. So the 2 hour lesson at Nusa Dua Freedive School that I had with Heiko was really useful for me. It gave me introduction into the world of freedivers. During the whole lesson it was easy and very interesting to obtain information. Illustrative examples of my teacher made it easier to learn and to understand what to do in this or that cases.
I want to express my gratitude to my instructor Heiko Franken. Thanks to you now I know what I have to do to dive very deep. How to inhale and exhale. And what I don't have to do. Thank you for your support. And thank you for letting me dive for 14 meters. It was very pleasant and important for me to hear that I'm so natural in water. My instructor, Tim, was really encouraging and easy-going, but I could learn a lot from his as well.

They took care a lot about my studying process and my state as well, answered to all my questions and were really hospitable. Very good skill to explain complicated things in a very easy way. I felt myself in safety during the deep session despite the fear of depth (which almost disappear after the course). Moving in water is... read moreI have always been an active person and loved exploring different styles of movement on land. Moving in water is somewhat an unfamiliar territory to me. So, I was both anxious and excited on Day 1. Under Kirill's expert guidance, I learn to let go and be one with the water element. Freediving opened up a whole new way of moving, of connecting with the breath (or the lack of), of surrendering to the present moment. I am forever grateful for Kirill for paving the path to this wonderful underwater experience. read less

It was such a great experience with 4 open water sessions included. The water is crystal clear with visibility around 30m. Plenty of fish and coral to see in the snorkel sessions at the end of the day. Emily is a really helpful instructor who gave plenty of constructive feedback during all of the course. She is also very friendly and approachable.
I Can’t recommend this freediving school highly enough and would love to come back to do further courses in the future.
