I decided to join to the course because of surfing - you need to hold breath and keep calm under water. But the course opened for me new world that you could see in National Geographic. Especially for the first experiense you need a good teacher for getting knowledge and support all the time. We had the best one! The group was small (only 4 persons) and it's the best way to to get new skill and practise over the control of the couch.
And of cause during diving you work with your body control, with your mental problems or fears. Diving for me became one of the way to understand yourself and your body.

My recent Manta Trip with Freedive Nusa was nothing short of amazing. The trip itself was a dream come true. We were fortunate enough to see over 20 mantas, and it was truly a mesmerizing sight. Our guide, Ray, was exceptional - knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. The equipment provided was top-notch, and the freedive center itself was stunning. We did a bit of dry practicing and then open-water dive after which I got my answers. I was guided by Kirill who is knowledgeable and quickly understands the reasons of the issue. On returning back we did some analysis and I got recommendations and exercises. That was a really professional approach so I recommend anybody to do training with these guys. Ich habe bei Heiko meinen Freediving Level 2 Kurs über drei volle Tage gemacht. Er weiß definitiv was er tut und wie er den interessanten Stoff ansehnlich vermitteln kann. Der Kurs war sehr vielseitig und ich konnte viele Sachen ausprobieren, wobei Safety steht’s im Vordergrund stand. Ich konnte mich stets steigern und so mit einem guten Gefühl Nusa Penida verlassen.
Wir haben die Sessions stets mit einem Riff-Tauchgang beendet.
Der organisierte Manta-Trip war atemberaubend. Es waren Schwärme von Giant-Mantas zu sehen und gegen Ende ist Heiko mit uns erfahrenden Freedivern noch in eine Höhle getaucht.

Artur was very knowledgeable, accommodating (as my wife was experiencing equalisation issues) and professional. As a result, we both significantly improved our freediving skills and learned lots of new very useful tricks and routines. It was great pleasure for everyone in the course spending couple of days together with Artur.
I can highly recommend Artur and Freedive Nusa team to anyone from beginners to experienced freedivers. Will definitely be back for Level 2!

They are incredible at every single step of organising beautiful experiences during each day of our trip. The itinerary was planned very well, we saw the best places (even those that other tours don’t take you) and had time to rest in between. The food was fantastic on the boat.

I didn’t train after Wave 1 course, but it was very easy for me to complete Wave 2 course due to the team providing me support on each step, setting me up for success with clear guidance and constantly providing feedback how to improve my performance.

If I continue my free diving training, I will definitely be back to this school as they are truly unique and care for all their students. There are no better place in Indonesia to learn free diving or enhance your shills. read less

From the beginning... read moreI had a very nice experience taking my level 1 SSI Free diving Course with Freedivenusa. From the beginning communication was always easy. They gave fast response whether it was through Instagram or through their email.
The course itself is a bit challenging for me who understand from begin that I have a bit of equalization problem and a fear to hold breath longer. However, Artur was a kind and patient instructor. His explanation is clear, helpful, and reassuring. Not to mention his state of calmness that made me feel at ease while in the same time also excited to try whatever he asked me to do. He didn’t push me to force myself, yet very persuasive in convincing that all will be well, and all I need to do is just relax, enjoy, and be natural in the water. Which I find to be a more effective method to get me to improve.
The school itself is located strategically, close to a few good restaurants and homestays to relax during your break. It is also a beautiful location; 30 seconds walk to the beach with beautiful snorkeling just a short swim away. The school provides well-maintained good-quality free diving equipment and a cozy setting to support the learning environment. All Freedivenusa instructors are highly experienced and professional who would make you feel that you are in good hands.
All in all, I felt very safe and well-taken care of by the school, and by Artur specifically as my instructor. The course has helped me gain confidence to push myself out of my fear in going deeper in to the deep blue by free diving. I’m totally hooked! And will keep the practice.
So, if you are thinking to do free diving in Indonesia, I highly recommend coming to Nusa Penida and do it with Freedivenusa! read less
