It is like going home that is so familiar. For many years it was my dream to learn how to freedive. Yeah, I knew how to go underwater, but I didn't know how to do this right actually. So the 2 hour lesson at Nusa Dua Freedive School that I had with Heiko was really useful for me. It gave me introduction into the world of freedivers. During the whole lesson it was easy and very interesting to obtain information. Illustrative examples of my teacher made it easier to learn and to understand what to do in this or that cases.
I want to express my gratitude to my instructor Heiko Franken. Thanks to you now I know what I have to do to dive very deep. How to inhale and exhale. And what I don't have to do. Thank you for your support. And thank you for letting me dive for 14 meters. It was very pleasant and important for me to hear that I'm so natural in water. Freedive Nusa made me feel at ease and worked within my limited walking ability due to serious injury and this made the experience even more amazing. Freedive Nusa is perfectly located and use fantastic, helpful boat drivers and provide a fantastic trip to snorkel with mantas as well :) I will be back for sure! Highly recommend read less

Before the Manta trip they did a briefing, informing us about the trip and especially about rules being near mantas! They provide good equipment and wetsuits as well. It was very valuable cause water in Manta Bay was really cold. Trip was going on a good big fast boat. read less

I personally recommend it to all freediving lovers who seek good focus, less partying island, delicious food and stunning nature environments! I did my level 3 SSI and Wave 3 Molchanov, master program and instructor courses and ever since I left I didn't stop missing the place. Artur was very knowledgeable, accommodating (as my wife was experiencing equalisation issues) and professional. As a result, we both significantly improved our freediving skills and learned lots of new very useful tricks and routines. It was great pleasure for everyone in the course spending couple of days together with Artur.
I can highly recommend Artur and Freedive Nusa team to anyone from beginners to experienced freedivers. Will definitely be back for Level 2!

So, I wanted a professional and safe freediving school for my Level 1 course, but also with a cool and chilled vibe, and that is exactly what I got!

Emily was my instructor, and I really recommend her. She is extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, and enthusiastic. She guided me throughout all areas in a calm and reassuring way. I went from holding my breath from 1min to then 3min40 in the same afternoon, after her clear and reassuring explanations and demonstrations. In the water, even though I had issues equalising and getting deeper, so she tailored the sessions to suit my needs and to get the best outcome of each session and ultimately the course.

I am extremely happy to have done this course in this school, and with Emily's help. This very different experience has already helped me on my scuba diving air consumption, which has dramatically decreased!:)

Can only recommend this school to you if you are looking for a professional, safe but also chilled freediving experience! read less
