The course was... read moreI was lucky to do SSI 1 with Emily, who is an amazing teacher/trainer and freediver herself. The course was well structured, the days were fun and flowed well. Open water sessions were done safely and under direct supervision. Groups are small so that you get 1-to-1 time with instructors. Good quality equiptment. The actual school is soooo nice and super chilled (with cute resident dog and gato).

My first course went so well that I ended up extending my stay in Nusa so I could do SSI 2. After a week i managed to go down 30m depth (PB), improved my technique (started out with lots of bad self-taught habits) and finished off feeling way more confident.

I cant recommend these guys enough! I saw first hand how Emily and Artur trained and introduced people to freediving. Divers that had completed courses but had never been taught how to equalize - Emily took the time to find different ways to teach them.

Manta trip and the batcave was a highlight. They always try to end sessions with snorkeling on the reef.

Would love to come back and train here again. They have the perfect setup in Penida. All the locals love them as well.

Freedive Nusa made me feel at ease and worked within my limited walking ability due to serious injury and this made the experience even more amazing. Freedive Nusa is perfectly located and use fantastic, helpful boat drivers and provide a fantastic trip to snorkel with mantas as well :) I will be back for sure! Highly recommend read less

The guides did a nice job of keeping us organized and away from the crowds while being able to see lots of mantas. We now love the spot and considering the full course upon return. read less

It was such a great experience with 4 open water sessions included. The water is crystal clear with visibility around 30m. Plenty of fish and coral to see in the snorkel sessions at the end of the day. Emily is a really helpful instructor who gave plenty of constructive feedback during all of the course. She is also very friendly and approachable.
I Can’t recommend this freediving school highly enough and would love to come back to do further courses in the future.

I personally recommend it to all freediving lovers who seek good focus, less partying island, delicious food and stunning nature environments! I did my level 3 SSI and Wave 3 Molchanov, master program and instructor courses and ever since I left I didn't stop missing the place. Also - for bit more experienced divers- there is absolutely lot of space to propose your own ideas - buddying-up with others, organise workshops, sessions etc! ?‍♀️???? read less

Highly professional and student-oriented instructor's work. Ecologically responsible organization that empowers the cleaning initiative "Trash heroe" and makes this idea popular among the locals. Enjoyed. I've been in Nusa few times, and I am happy that finally there is such a special a freediving school there. Am amazed by the level of expertise this school maintains and how they cater to the specific needs of every participant. my instructor was Artur who was extremely professional yet personal troughout the course and he really focussed on the parts I needed training in. It was a great experience. My instructor Kiril clearly has extensive experience in both the practice and teaching of free diving. While teaching the basics, Kiril gave me deep appreciation of how my practices of yoga and meditation can converge in helping my body and mind to be calm, relaxed, and agile in free diving. I always felt very safe and well guided, despite of variable weather and water conditions throughout the course exercises in the ocean. In addition, Kiril and his partner Yana have very nice energy. read less
