It was an absolutely amazing trip and I highly recommend booking with Freedive Nusa. Kirill and Hamza are very caring guides and we were taken good care of at all times.

If you want to visit Raja Ampat you should chose Freedive Nusa - you will not be disappointed. Everything you need is provided for and their service and equipment is of high standard.

Freediving in Raja Ampat is an amazing and relaxing way to discover the reefs around the islands. No matter what level - you can also be new to it. Be prepared for the most beautiful reefs and marine life you'll ever see.

Friendly atmosphere, a lot of care about your health such as: hot ginger tea after each session in the ocean, rinse your nose, inhalation, breath work and etc. A lot of my friends already completed the course and recommended to me. And I having exclusively positive emotions and didn't regret about the decision. I do surfing and the knowledge what I get is really open my eyes! I want to thank for the bottom of my heart All the team FreediveNusa for the amazing experience and knowledge I received.
I spend almost 3 weeks to complete the funniest, intense and craziest Instructor course ever! I had the chance to do it with Kirill :) and I had 2 others unforgettable buddies ( Lin and Vera).

We start as colleague and we finished the course as a family ! Thank you for everything !

Location: The set up at Freedive Nusa is just perfect. Open rooms, clean equipments, swimming pool. The location is excellent for all the lazy person like me, just across the road from the sea (less than 1min).
Hotel and restaurant: nearby (in 4 minutes you are at Penida Colada the best spot ever to eat and read your course)
Course: Instructor extremely professional and knowledgeable about Freediving. Theory and practice are done in a logical manner. The teaching ambiance is just Unique !
Bonus: After each Open-water session, you have the chance to end the session with time to dive on the house reef which is just magical. I see 2 turtle and incredible marine life there. The color are beautiful.

BONUS2: They organize TRIPS around Bali at Raj Ampat, Komodo and more !

The course was... read moreI was lucky to do SSI 1 with Emily, who is an amazing teacher/trainer and freediver herself. The course was well structured, the days were fun and flowed well. Open water sessions were done safely and under direct supervision. Groups are small so that you get 1-to-1 time with instructors. Good quality equiptment. The actual school is soooo nice and super chilled (with cute resident dog and gato).

My first course went so well that I ended up extending my stay in Nusa so I could do SSI 2. After a week i managed to go down 30m depth (PB), improved my technique (started out with lots of bad self-taught habits) and finished off feeling way more confident.

I cant recommend these guys enough! I saw first hand how Emily and Artur trained and introduced people to freediving. Divers that had completed courses but had never been taught how to equalize - Emily took the time to find different ways to teach them.

Manta trip and the batcave was a highlight. They always try to end sessions with snorkeling on the reef.

Would love to come back and train here again. They have the perfect setup in Penida. All the locals love them as well.

Emily made us very comfortable trying something new and it was amazing how much we learned and picked up in just two and a half days! I did Level 1 and I had so much fun. Was my first time ever doing freedive. I was super nervous because i have no idea about freedive. But the teaching by Kirill, the owner and instructor, was informative, engaging and fun. I think the most important thing is that all of the sessions with him in the water was super safe and professional. I feel ready and safe 100% all the time when we practice together in the deep ocean (even with Nusa Penida infamous strong current) since day 1. Absolutely no pressure to go deep or make me do anything i'm not ready for. At the same time, my abilities were gently extended and I definitely grew more confidence in the water than before. So go to Nusa Penida and do the freedive course with them! Easy access from Bali island, it is your best option other than taking any freedive course in Gili nor Amed. The island itself is simply chillax, not super touristy like other destinations. Highly recommended! Find out what freediving is all about with Kirill - Freedive Nusa. You won't regret it.

It was such a great experience with 4 open water sessions included. The water is crystal clear with visibility around 30m. Plenty of fish and coral to see in the snorkel sessions at the end of the day. Emily is a really helpful instructor who gave plenty of constructive feedback during all of the course. She is also very friendly and approachable.
I Can’t recommend this freediving school highly enough and would love to come back to do further courses in the future.
