Course is very comprehensive (good mix of theory with lots of practice), instructors (Kirill & Tim) very professional & knowledgeable and always happy to give feedback & tips.
Manta trip brought us to very different spots, all great, with mantas & healthy reefs (Nusa Penida reefs were better than expected, compared to other spots around Bali & Lombok).

I personally recommend it to all freediving lovers who seek good focus, less partying island, delicious food and stunning nature environments! I did my level 3 SSI and Wave 3 Molchanov, master program and instructor courses and ever since I left I didn't stop missing the place. My 13 year old son and I did the SSI Level I Freediving course with Freedive Nusa, and the team... read moreMy 13 year old son and I did the SSI Level I Freediving course with Freedive Nusa, and the team was as professional as I’ve seen. Our instructor, Heiko, and Arthur (who joined to help in some of the ocean sessions) knew their stuff and upheld the highest of standards throughout. I felt extremely comfortable leaving my son in their hands. Heiko taught us the ins and outs of freediving and balanced it with a lot of practical sessions in the ocean (that was right across the street).
Nusa Penida’s tourism has only recently picked up and consequently it has that perfect balance of just the right amount of infrastructure (restaurants, hotels/homestays, scooter rentals, etc) without all the unfortunate destruction that tourism often brings. We saw some of the most beautiful, untouched coral reefs that I’ve seen around the world.
I highly recommend anyone that’s comfortable in the water to take a couple of days to take “the next step in”, or at least join them on a day trip. Good, good stuff! read less

I want to thank for the bottom of my heart All the team FreediveNusa for the amazing experience and knowledge I received.
I spend almost 3 weeks to complete the funniest, intense and craziest Instructor course ever! I had the chance to do it with Kirill :) and I had 2 others unforgettable buddies ( Lin and Vera).

We start as colleague and we finished the course as a family ! Thank you for everything !

Location: The set up at Freedive Nusa is just perfect. Open rooms, clean equipments, swimming pool. The location is excellent for all the lazy person like me, just across the road from the sea (less than 1min).
Hotel and restaurant: nearby (in 4 minutes you are at Penida Colada the best spot ever to eat and read your course)
Course: Instructor extremely professional and knowledgeable about Freediving. Theory and practice are done in a logical manner. The teaching ambiance is just Unique !
Bonus: After each Open-water session, you have the chance to end the session with time to dive on the house reef which is just magical. I see 2 turtle and incredible marine life there. The color are beautiful.

BONUS2: They organize TRIPS around Bali at Raj Ampat, Komodo and more !

The moment I saw our friends freediving happily, I knew I wanted to feel as calm and free under water, as they did.
So I took the course and I am more than happy. Now I can hold my breath without panic nor discomfort, whilst studying the wonderful underwater world. And I've never been so relaxed and happy in the water before.
My gratitude to the instructors is immeasurable. That was a breathtaking experience. I felt confident and safe during the whole process.
School is well equipped and cosy, situated close to the beach and nice cafes for the lunch break. There's a plenty of accomodation options around.
Not to mention the surroundings are truly beautiful. Home reef with a huge variety of fishes, turtles and other creatures. Endless opportunities to explore the deep blue. read less
