Set in the beautiful tropical paradise of Nusa Penida, the school's location is perfect for diving. (And relaxing before, during and afterwards)

The team at Freedive Nusa is professional, caring, and nurturing. They made me feel supported from day one, helping me gain confidence and improve my skills with their expert guidance and personalized feedback.

Diving in the crystal-clear waters surrounded by vibrant marine life was incredible. The combination of top-notch training and the stunning environment made my time at Freedive Nusa unforgettable. If you want to learn or advance your freediving in a gorgeous setting, this is the place to go.

Leaving today will be tough, but I know where I will return if I am back in this area, for further training, courses or fun dives.

I'd actually done this certification before at a world renowned school in Central America but I decided to do it again as I have issues with equalisation. I got so much more out of this course taught by our amazing instructor Heiko. We got two full days of training in which we covered so much including 4 practical sessions, 2 in the pool and 2 in the open water. I loved getting to practice things I was never shown on my first course, like a static breath hold and an introduction to the dynamic discipline. Heiko was extremely knowledgable, patient and supportive. I really felt like we each got such a tailored training. He treated us each as individuals and adjusted the training to our needs and abilities. It really helped us get the most out of every dive and have the best experience. The 2 day level 1 course was professionally run throughout. The whole thing was very relaxed, interesting and lots of fun. Having done 2 other courses with different associations, I was very happy with the way the whole thing was run. I felt as though I learnt more with SSI than with the previous courses.

Having a dedicated freediving school with comfortable theory area and pool for statics made for a more relaxed experience. Artur (freediving instructor) was exceptional - always happy, informative, knowledgeble and approachable throughout. I never felt rushed or pressured.

The diving was just off shore from the dive school (literally across the road) which was extremely convenient. The school has changing areas, toilets, hot showers (use of clean towels), wash tanks and drying areas. The classroom was large and open sided, with access to wall posters, video footage and comfortable seating. The courses include use of their freediving equipment, so it was not actually necessary to bring your own if you don't want to travel with it.

The whole course was very enjoyable and of course.... rewarding. Thank you Artur. Looking forward to doing my level 2 with you soon(ish). read less

I want to thank for the bottom of my heart All the team FreediveNusa for the amazing experience and knowledge I received.
I spend almost 3 weeks to complete the funniest, intense and craziest Instructor course ever! I had the chance to do it with Kirill :) and I had 2 others unforgettable buddies ( Lin and Vera).

We start as colleague and we finished the course as a family ! Thank you for everything !

Location: The set up at Freedive Nusa is just perfect. Open rooms, clean equipments, swimming pool. The location is excellent for all the lazy person like me, just across the road from the sea (less than 1min).
Hotel and restaurant: nearby (in 4 minutes you are at Penida Colada the best spot ever to eat and read your course)
Course: Instructor extremely professional and knowledgeable about Freediving. Theory and practice are done in a logical manner. The teaching ambiance is just Unique !
Bonus: After each Open-water session, you have the chance to end the session with time to dive on the house reef which is just magical. I see 2 turtle and incredible marine life there. The color are beautiful.

BONUS2: They organize TRIPS around Bali at Raj Ampat, Komodo and more !
