And I having exclusively positive emotions and didn't regret about the decision. I do surfing and the knowledge what I get is really open my eyes! It was a great experience. My instructor Kiril clearly has extensive experience in both the practice and teaching of free diving. While teaching the basics, Kiril gave me deep appreciation of how my practices of yoga and meditation can converge in helping my body and mind to be calm, relaxed, and agile in free diving. I always felt very safe and well guided, despite of variable weather and water conditions throughout the course exercises in the ocean. Our instructor Arthur is a really cool, young guy. All of the freediving instructors are also yoga instructors and seem friendly. The facilities are nice - even tho the pool was under construction which would’ve been nice to mention beforehand.
The course was super interesting you learn about relaxation and breathing techniques as well as safety rules. Nusa is a really nice island by the way - we were a little bit unlucky because since we came in rainy season there was a lot of plastic swimming around (which is obviously not the companies fault) but otherwise it’s a nice place to learn freediving.
In general my freediving course was more difficult than for example my scuba diving course - while failing your scuba diving course is not really common failing your freediving course can happen so you might want to plan 1 day extra just in case you don’t pass in the 2 days of training (happend to a woman in our group).
We also attended a manta Ray trip the day after and I really recommend it. We saw many mantas and they came so close, I had to move out of the way because I didn’t want to touch them. A really unique experience! The group was cool - a mix between real professionals and total newbies.
All in all we really enjoyed our time there and recommend the place :) read less

Artur was very knowledgeable, accommodating (as my wife was experiencing equalisation issues) and professional. As a result, we both significantly improved our freediving skills and learned lots of new very useful tricks and routines. It was great pleasure for everyone in the course spending couple of days together with Artur.
I can highly recommend Artur and Freedive Nusa team to anyone from beginners to experienced freedivers. Will definitely be back for Level 2!

Но, по факту - полтора месяца и это превзошло все мои ожидания - йога, покатушки на катере, путешествия по острову, дружеские ужины, совместные активности, сап-борд, много разговоров и новых эмоций, новые знакомства которые стали друзьями.. ну и разумеется еще и само обучение в Freedive Nusa...

The moment I saw our friends freediving happily, I knew I wanted to feel as calm and free under water, as they did.
So I took the course and I am more than happy. Now I can hold my breath without panic nor discomfort, whilst studying the wonderful underwater world. And I've never been so relaxed and happy in the water before.
My gratitude to the instructors is immeasurable. That was a breathtaking experience. I felt confident and safe during the whole process.
School is well equipped and cosy, situated close to the beach and nice cafes for the lunch break. There's a plenty of accomodation options around.
Not to mention the surroundings are truly beautiful. Home reef with a huge variety of fishes, turtles and other creatures. Endless opportunities to explore the deep blue. read less

It was such a great experience with 4 open water sessions included. The water is crystal clear with visibility around 30m. Plenty of fish and coral to see in the snorkel sessions at the end of the day. Emily is a really helpful instructor who gave plenty of constructive feedback during all of the course. She is also very friendly and approachable.
I Can’t recommend this freediving school highly enough and would love to come back to do further courses in the future.
