Course is very comprehensive (good mix of theory with lots of practice), instructors (Kirill & Tim) very professional & knowledgeable and always happy to give feedback & tips.
Manta trip brought us to very different spots, all great, with mantas & healthy reefs (Nusa Penida reefs were better than expected, compared to other spots around Bali & Lombok).

So, I was both anxious and excited on Day 1. Under Kirill's expert guidance, I learn to let go and be one with the water element. Freediving opened up a whole new way of moving, of connecting with the breath (or the lack of), of surrendering to the present moment. Ich habe bei Heiko meinen Freediving Level 2 Kurs über drei volle Tage gemacht. Er weiß definitiv was er tut und wie er den interessanten Stoff ansehnlich vermitteln kann. Der Kurs war sehr vielseitig und ich konnte viele Sachen ausprobieren, wobei Safety steht’s im Vordergrund stand. Ich konnte mich stets steigern und so mit einem guten Gefühl Nusa Penida verlassen.
Wir haben die Sessions stets mit einem Riff-Tauchgang beendet.
Der organisierte Manta-Trip war atemberaubend. Es waren Schwärme von Giant-Mantas zu sehen und gegen Ende ist Heiko mit uns erfahrenden Freedivern noch in eine Höhle getaucht.

I did Level 1 and I had so much fun. Was my first time ever doing freedive. I was super nervous because i have no idea about freedive. But the teaching by Kirill, the owner and instructor, was informative, engaging and fun. I think the most important thing is that all of the sessions with him in the water was super safe and professional. I feel ready and safe 100% all the time when we practice together in the deep ocean (even with Nusa Penida infamous strong current) since day 1. Absolutely no pressure to go deep or make me do anything i'm not ready for. At the same time, my abilities were gently extended and I definitely grew more confidence in the water than before. So go to Nusa Penida and do the freedive course with them! Easy access from Bali island, it is your best option other than taking any freedive course in Gili nor Amed. The island itself is simply chillax, not super touristy like other destinations. Highly recommended! Find out what freediving is all about with Kirill - Freedive Nusa. You won't regret it.

Pretty rough ride to Manta Point (choppy waters!
Recommend medicating to prevent seasickness.

There are a lot of boats and a lot of people in the water. If you stay in the crowd, it's chaos! Pretty much guaranteed to get kicked in the face.

We swam away from the crowd, stayed at the edge (entrance/exit) and saw so many Manta rays!!
Guessing around 50...!!! Stopped counting after 20. 👏👏👏

Majestic, beautiful creatures.
Definitely recommend.

The waters are choppy and chilly.
So be prepared.
And enjoy the show!
