It was a great experience. My instructor Kiril clearly has extensive experience in both the practice and teaching of free diving. While teaching the basics, Kiril gave me deep appreciation of how my practices of yoga and meditation can converge in helping my body and mind to be calm, relaxed, and agile in free diving. I always felt very safe and well guided, despite of variable weather and water conditions throughout the course exercises in the ocean. It was simply stunning. Probably THE best week I had in a long time!
Kirill and Jan are both amazing instructors and I easily learned how to equalize better and really enjoyed the line training we had in the mornings of the first days! Started to really love freediving and will definitely do my certification while I am in Indonesia
We started the days with meditation/yoga and breathing exercises - many thanks to Kirill for that!

Everything was well organized and planned: from flights and hotels/homestays, special food requests and healthy breakfast options to day trips and fun diving adventures! Thank you Jan for all your magic you did in the background!

And the underwater world of Raja Ampat is simply stunning - often you could just dive off the beach/jetty of your homestay and see beautiful coral and so many fish. At one homestay we had sharks swimming by the common area my favorite was definitely seeing a Manta for the first time in my life at a dive site called Manta Sandy and thrifting along the stunning Cape Kri.

All in all, thanks to the beautiful nature, the great training and other inspiring guests it was definitely a week I will remember! read less

I want to thank for the bottom of my heart All the team FreediveNusa for the amazing experience and knowledge I received.
I spend almost 3 weeks to complete the funniest, intense and craziest Instructor course ever! I had the chance to do it with Kirill :) and I had 2 others unforgettable buddies ( Lin and Vera).

We start as colleague and we finished the course as a family ! Thank you for everything !

Location: The set up at Freedive Nusa is just perfect. Open rooms, clean equipments, swimming pool. The location is excellent for all the lazy person like me, just across the road from the sea (less than 1min).
Hotel and restaurant: nearby (in 4 minutes you are at Penida Colada the best spot ever to eat and read your course)
Course: Instructor extremely professional and knowledgeable about Freediving. Theory and practice are done in a logical manner. The teaching ambiance is just Unique !
Bonus: After each Open-water session, you have the chance to end the session with time to dive on the house reef which is just magical. I see 2 turtle and incredible marine life there. The color are beautiful.

BONUS2: They organize TRIPS around Bali at Raj Ampat, Komodo and more !

I decided to join to the course because of... read moreAbsolutly incredible experience for me! It was my first time diving. I decided to join to the course because of surfing - you need to hold breath and keep calm under water. But the course opened for me new world that you could see in National Geographic. Especially for the first experiense you need a good teacher for getting knowledge and support all the time. We had the best one! The group was small (only 4 persons) and it's the best way to to get new skill and practise over the control of the couch.
And of cause during diving you work with your body control, with your mental problems or fears. Diving for me became one of the way to understand yourself and your body.

Our instructor Arthur is a really cool, young guy. All of the freediving instructors are also yoga instructors and seem friendly. The facilities are nice - even tho the pool was under construction which would’ve been nice to mention beforehand.
The course was super interesting you learn about relaxation and breathing techniques as well as safety rules. Nusa is a really nice island by the way - we were a little bit unlucky because since we came in rainy season there was a lot of plastic swimming around (which is obviously not the companies fault) but otherwise it’s a nice place to learn freediving.
In general my freediving course was more difficult than for example my scuba diving course - while failing your scuba diving course is not really common failing your freediving course can happen so you might want to plan 1 day extra just in case you don’t pass in the 2 days of training (happend to a woman in our group).
We also attended a manta Ray trip the day after and I really recommend it. We saw many mantas and they came so close, I had to move out of the way because I didn’t want to touch them. A really unique experience! The group was cool - a mix between real professionals and total newbies.
All in all we really enjoyed our time there and recommend the place :) read less

So, I wanted a professional and safe freediving school for my Level 1 course, but also with a cool and chilled vibe, and that is exactly what I got!

Emily was my instructor, and I really recommend her. She is extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, and enthusiastic. She guided me throughout all areas in a calm and reassuring way. I went from holding my breath from 1min to then 3min40 in the same afternoon, after her clear and reassuring explanations and demonstrations. In the water, even though I had issues equalising and getting deeper, so she tailored the sessions to suit my needs and to get the best outcome of each session and ultimately the course.

I am extremely happy to have done this course in this school, and with Emily's help. This very different experience has already helped me on my scuba diving air consumption, which has dramatically decreased!:)

Can only recommend this school to you if you are looking for a professional, safe but also chilled freediving experience! read less
