We did a bit of dry practicing and then open-water dive after which I got my answers. I was guided by Kirill who is knowledgeable and quickly understands the reasons of the issue. On returning back we did some analysis and I got recommendations and exercises. That was a really professional approach so I recommend anybody to do training with these guys. They are incredible at every single step of organising beautiful experiences during each day of our trip. The itinerary was planned very well, we saw the best places (even those that other tours don’t take you) and had time to rest in between. The food was fantastic on the boat.

I didn’t train after Wave 1 course, but it was very easy for me to complete Wave 2 course due to the team providing me support on each step, setting me up for success with clear guidance and constantly providing feedback how to improve my performance.

If I continue my free diving training, I will definitely be back to this school as they are truly unique and care for all their students. There are no better place in Indonesia to learn free diving or enhance your shills. read less

From the beginning... read moreI had a very nice experience taking my level 1 SSI Free diving Course with Freedivenusa. From the beginning communication was always easy. They gave fast response whether it was through Instagram or through their email.
The course itself is a bit challenging for me who understand from begin that I have a bit of equalization problem and a fear to hold breath longer. However, Artur was a kind and patient instructor. His explanation is clear, helpful, and reassuring. Not to mention his state of calmness that made me feel at ease while in the same time also excited to try whatever he asked me to do. He didn’t push me to force myself, yet very persuasive in convincing that all will be well, and all I need to do is just relax, enjoy, and be natural in the water. Which I find to be a more effective method to get me to improve.
The school itself is located strategically, close to a few good restaurants and homestays to relax during your break. It is also a beautiful location; 30 seconds walk to the beach with beautiful snorkeling just a short swim away. The school provides well-maintained good-quality free diving equipment and a cozy setting to support the learning environment. All Freedivenusa instructors are highly experienced and professional who would make you feel that you are in good hands.
All in all, I felt very safe and well-taken care of by the school, and by Artur specifically as my instructor. The course has helped me gain confidence to push myself out of my fear in going deeper in to the deep blue by free diving. I’m totally hooked! And will keep the practice.
So, if you are thinking to do free diving in Indonesia, I highly recommend coming to Nusa Penida and do it with Freedivenusa! read less

Friendly atmosphere, a lot of care about your health such as: hot ginger tea after each session in the ocean, rinse your nose, inhalation, breath work and etc. A lot of my friends already completed the course and recommended to me. And I having exclusively positive emotions and didn't regret about the decision. I do surfing and the knowledge what I get is really open my eyes! I was trained by incredible instructor Yana, with her I did my first 20m in my life without experience before! Absolutely recommend this freediving school! read less

They took care a lot about my studying process and my state as well, answered to all my questions and were really hospitable. Very good skill to explain complicated things in a very easy way. I felt myself in safety during the deep session despite the fear of depth (which almost disappear after the course).
