Excellent school to learn how to Freedive! I rarely write reviews, but had a great experience, and since I read so many myself, need to help others... read moreI rarely write reviews, but had a great experience, and since I read so many myself, need to help others out too!

So, I wanted a professional and safe freediving school for my Level 1 course, but also with a cool and chilled vibe, and that is exactly what I got!

Emily was my instructor, and I really recommend her. She is extremely knowledgeable, resourceful, and enthusiastic. She guided me throughout all areas in a calm and reassuring way. I went from holding my breath from 1min to then 3min40 in the same afternoon, after her clear and reassuring explanations and demonstrations. In the water, even though I had issues equalising and getting deeper, so she tailored the sessions to suit my needs and to get the best outcome of each session and ultimately the course.

I am extremely happy to have done this course in this school, and with Emily's help. This very different experience has already helped me on my scuba diving air consumption, which has dramatically decreased!:)

Can only recommend this school to you if you are looking for a professional, safe but also chilled freediving experience! read less

Highly professional and student-oriented instructor's work. Ecologically responsible organization that empowers the cleaning initiative "Trash heroe" and makes this idea popular among the locals. Enjoyed. I've been in Nusa few times, and I am happy that finally there is such a special a freediving school there. I did Level 1 and I had so much fun. Was my first time ever doing freedive. I was super nervous because i have no idea about freedive. But the teaching by Kirill, the owner and instructor, was informative, engaging and fun. I think the most important thing is that all of the sessions with him in the water was super safe and professional. I feel ready and safe 100% all the time when we practice together in the deep ocean (even with Nusa Penida infamous strong current) since day 1. Absolutely no pressure to go deep or make me do anything i'm not ready for. At the same time, my abilities were gently extended and I definitely grew more confidence in the water than before. So go to Nusa Penida and do the freedive course with them! Easy access from Bali island, it is your best option other than taking any freedive course in Gili nor Amed. The island itself is simply chillax, not super touristy like other destinations. Highly recommended! Find out what freediving is all about with Kirill - Freedive Nusa. You won't regret it.

Artur was very knowledgeable, accommodating (as my wife was experiencing equalisation issues) and professional. As a result, we both significantly improved our freediving skills and learned lots of new very useful tricks and routines. It was great pleasure for everyone in the course spending couple of days together with Artur.
I can highly recommend Artur and Freedive Nusa team to anyone from beginners to experienced freedivers. Will definitely be back for Level 2!

Course is very comprehensive (good mix of theory with lots of practice), instructors (Kirill & Tim) very professional & knowledgeable and always happy to give feedback & tips.
Manta trip brought us to very different spots, all great, with mantas & healthy reefs (Nusa Penida reefs were better than expected, compared to other spots around Bali & Lombok).
Overall everything was well organised, easy going & super enjoyable! read less

It was simply stunning. Probably THE best week I had in a long time!
Kirill and Jan are both amazing instructors and I easily learned how to equalize better and really enjoyed the line training we had in the mornings of the first days! Started to really love freediving and will definitely do my certification while I am in Indonesia
We started the days with meditation/yoga and breathing exercises - many thanks to Kirill for that!

Everything was well organized and planned: from flights and hotels/homestays, special food requests and healthy breakfast options to day trips and fun diving adventures! Thank you Jan for all your magic you did in the background!

And the underwater world of Raja Ampat is simply stunning - often you could just dive off the beach/jetty of your homestay and see beautiful coral and so many fish. At one homestay we had sharks swimming by the common area my favorite was definitely seeing a Manta for the first time in my life at a dive site called Manta Sandy and thrifting along the stunning Cape Kri.

All in all, thanks to the beautiful nature, the great training and other inspiring guests it was definitely a week I will remember! read less
