Set in the beautiful tropical paradise of Nusa Penida, the school's location is perfect for diving. (And relaxing before, during and afterwards)

The team at Freedive Nusa is professional, caring, and nurturing. They made me feel supported from day one, helping me gain confidence and improve my skills with their expert guidance and personalized feedback.

Diving in the crystal-clear waters surrounded by vibrant marine life was incredible. The combination of top-notch training and the stunning environment made my time at Freedive Nusa unforgettable. If you want to learn or advance your freediving in a gorgeous setting, this is the place to go.

Leaving today will be tough, but I know where I will return if I am back in this area, for further training, courses or fun dives.

Everything about the Wave 1 course was great: the facilities, the equipment and especially our instructor, Gaston. He was incredibly skilled at teaching new freedivers. He explained everything very clearly, made us all feel at ease, and made sure that each one of us got the support they needed to progress. I can't recommend him highly enough! Thanks again for these amazing 3 days!

Both the accommodation and yoga were great too. The hotel was just around the corner, had a pool and served good breakfast. So, I was very happy with booking the package. So far definitely a 5-star-plus experience.

Unfortunately, my trip ended with a disappointment, because the manta trip was a 1-star experience. After 3 days of an amazing course, I was looking forward to a fun freediving session with mantas. However, I was simply dropped off at the harbour and told to join a snorkeling boat from another operator that did not cater to freedivers and simply stuffed their boat as full as possible (20 people). At each snorkelling spot we were rushed into the water and had to get out after just a few minutes. Certainly not relaxed enough to freedive.

My conclusion: definitely go to Freedive Nusa for any course and trip that they organize themselves, but stay away from trips that a third party runs for them (that is, if they tell you beforehand, they did not in my case). скрыть

The course was insightful and from the get go Gaston’s chilled and patient attitude made what could be a difficult three days incredibly enjoyable. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the team. The vibes were immaculate from everyone. The equipment was top notch too!

At the time of booking I... подробнееMy first proper freediving training happened at FreediveNusa under care of instructor Emily Krakoff. At the time of booking I did not know much and booked my training at FreediveNusa because it looked most freediving orientated and professional school in the region. I got very lucky because foundation and first experience is most important building your hobby or career. I have no words to describe how thankful I am to the Emily who looked after me both on the line in the sea and on land. She managed to achieve a difficult balance of pushing and supporting me hard enough to make a progress but at the same time always making sure I am safe and super happy and understanding when I was limited mentally or physically or by the technique and working to build a strong foundation for my freediving technique. Given how supportive and optimistic she was training was always enjoyable and felt relaxed. I also understood what it means having good instructor who knows about freediving more than required in curriculum and knows how to trouble shoot and overcome my problems. needless to say I got hooked on sport partially because of experience with Emily, and FreediveNusa.
I have been on manta trip with Artur who was also instructor at the time and he ws very good during the trip too.
and can iIt has been a week since I came back from raja Ampat trip organised by Kiriil and Jan at FreediveNusa
Just wanted to thank from a bottom of my heart for a great training on the line, priceless advice and looking after me during fun dives. mainly thanks to Kirill's knowledge and ability to trouble shoot and advise in a comfortable understandable relaxed manner I did progress in my skill level which makes me very very happy.
Morning Yoga and specific to freediving stretching was great i!
Also trip was planed in a such a way that we have managed to see beautiful locations and amazing underwater world of Raja Ampat which left me with life long memories.
