The 2 day level 1 course was professionally run throughout. The whole thing was very relaxed, interesting and lots of fun. Having done 2 other courses with different associations, I was very happy with the way the whole thing was run. I felt as though I learnt more with SSI than with the previous courses.

Having a dedicated freediving school with comfortable theory area and pool for statics made for a more relaxed experience. Artur (freediving instructor) was exceptional - always happy, informative, knowledgeble and approachable throughout. I never felt rushed or pressured.

The diving was just off shore from the dive school (literally across the road) which was extremely convenient. The school has changing areas, toilets, hot showers (use of clean towels), wash tanks and drying areas. The classroom was large and open sided, with access to wall posters, video footage and comfortable seating. The courses include use of their freediving equipment, so it was not actually necessary to bring your own if you don't want to travel with it.

The whole course was very enjoyable and of course.... rewarding. Thank you Artur. Looking forward to doing my level 2 with you soon(ish). read less

Pretty rough ride to Manta Point (choppy waters!
Recommend medicating to prevent seasickness.

There are a lot of boats and a lot of people in the water. If you stay in the crowd, it's chaos! Pretty much guaranteed to get kicked in the face.

We swam away from the crowd, stayed at the edge (entrance/exit) and saw so many Manta rays!!
Guessing around 50...!!! Stopped counting after 20. 👏👏👏

Majestic, beautiful creatures.
Definitely recommend.

The waters are choppy and chilly.
So be prepared.
And enjoy the show!

I did my level 3 SSI and Wave 3 Molchanov, master program and instructor courses and ever since I left I didn't stop missing the place. My teacher was super patient, very knowledgeable and helped me push my limits without feeling any pressure. Chiara quickly saw that I would mentally block myself, she really talked and showed me through it.
Also, the owner was super accommodating and made sure I felt comfortable when on our manta trip and went out of his way to make sure we saw mantas. Would definitely recommend doing your freediving here and/or booking trips with them :) read less

Before the Manta trip they did a briefing, informing us about the trip and especially about rules being near mantas! They provide good equipment and wetsuits as well. I can honestly say that diving with Kirill and his friends has been the most enjoyable and most rewarding diving i have ever done.
