The Instructor Course is designed for experienced freedivers who have achieved a high level of skill and are ready to take the next step towards becoming a professional freediving instructor. This intensive program will not only refine your personal freediving abilities but also equip you with the knowledge and teaching techniques needed to guide students safely and effectively.

During this course, you will be required to meet both practical performance standards and academic requirements. You will develop a deep understanding of freediving techniques, safety protocols, coaching methods, and course organization.

The physical requirements to pass the Wave 2 Instructor Course:

• 40m CWTB & FIM
• 30m CNF
• 25m rescue + 50m surface tow
• 100m pool DYN
• 60m DNF
• 4 min STA
• 15m Stand-by rescue
• CO2 Dive

You will learn all aspects of freediving, will upgrade your own skills and knowledge, will learn how to teach people, how to organize freediving courses, provide appropriate safety for your students, etc.

After this course, you will be able to teach Wave 1 / Lap 1, Wave 2 / Lap 2 courses, and run Base Training Sessions.

Molchanovs Instructor Crossover

This course is suitable for active freediving instructors from any other freediving agency.

During this course, you will go over every aspect of freedive technique and get introduced to the Molchanovs Teaching System as a very effective way how to teach all skills on all course levels. A special emphasis is laid on how to perform and teach no-fins and monofin techniques.

Experienced Master Instructors can also directly crossover to the Molchanovs Wave 3 Instructor Level (W3I). Please contact us for further details!

Molchanovs Wave 3 Instructor Upgrade

Price: IDR 6.000.000 Duration: 3 days Price includes: equipment rental, learning materials, Molchanovs certification

To apply to be a Molchanovs Wave 3 Instructor, you will need:

1. An active Wave 2 Instructor certification.
2. Have at least 1 year of teaching experience as a Wave 2 Instructor.
3. Minimum of 50 certifications (of which a minimum of 10 Wave 1 and 10 Wave 2). Certifications from other agencies will count as 50%, meaning you will require a minimum of 100 certifications.

The physical requirements to pass the Wave 3 Instructor Upgrade:

• 50m CWTB & FIM
• 35m CNF
• 30m rescue + 50m surface tow
• 100m pool DYN
• 75m DNF
• 4.30 min STA
• 20m Stand-by rescue

During the upgrade, you have to demonstrate your professionalism and pass academic and in-water teaching presentations from the Wave 3 program.

Molchanovs Junior Instructor

Are you a Molchanovs Lap or Wave 2 Instructor with a passion for teaching freediving to children? Do you want to inspire a love for freediving in the younger generation?

If so, it’s time to become a Molchanovs Junior Freediving Instructor and help shape the future of freedivers! As a Junior Instructor, you’ll have the opportunity to teach kids as young as 4 years old various swimming techniques, pool freediving disciplines, and depth freediving, both in formal courses and during training sessions after the courses have concluded.

The Junior Freediving Education Program consists of three age groups, featuring Discover, Lap, and Wave Сourses: 4 – 7 years, 8 – 11 years, 12 – 15 years.

Unlike the adult freediving courses, the content of the Junior Lap and Junior Wave courses is entirely separate — a Junior Wave course does not cover the pool material from the Junior Lap course.

To become a certified Molchanovs Junior Instructor, a freediver must successfully fulfill all requirements according to teaching assessments, performance requirements, and exams.
