It is like going home that is so familiar. For many years it was my dream to learn how to freedive. Yeah, I knew how to go underwater, but I didn't know how to do this right actually. So the 2 hour lesson at Nusa Dua Freedive School that I had with Heiko was really useful for me. It gave me introduction into the world of freedivers. During the whole lesson it was easy and very interesting to obtain information. Illustrative examples of my teacher made it easier to learn and to understand what to do in this or that cases.
I want to express my gratitude to my instructor Heiko Franken. Thanks to you now I know what I have to do to dive very deep. How to inhale and exhale. And what I don't have to do. Thank you for your support. And thank you for letting me dive for 14 meters. It was very pleasant and important for me to hear that I'm so natural in water. They are incredible at every single step of organising beautiful experiences during each day of our trip. The itinerary was planned very well, we saw the best places (even those that other tours don’t take you) and had time to rest in between. The food was fantastic on the boat.

I didn’t train after Wave 1 course, but it was very easy for me to complete Wave 2 course due to the team providing me support on each step, setting me up for success with clear guidance and constantly providing feedback how to improve my performance.

If I continue my free diving training, I will definitely be back to this school as they are truly unique and care for all their students. There are no better place in Indonesia to learn free diving or enhance your shills. read less

Our instructor Arthur is a really cool, young guy. All of the freediving instructors are also yoga instructors and seem friendly. The facilities are nice - even tho the pool was under construction which would’ve been nice to mention beforehand.
The course was super interesting you learn about relaxation and breathing techniques as well as safety rules. Nusa is a really nice island by the way - we were a little bit unlucky because since we came in rainy season there was a lot of plastic swimming around (which is obviously not the companies fault) but otherwise it’s a nice place to learn freediving.
In general my freediving course was more difficult than for example my scuba diving course - while failing your scuba diving course is not really common failing your freediving course can happen so you might want to plan 1 day extra just in case you don’t pass in the 2 days of training (happend to a woman in our group).
We also attended a manta Ray trip the day after and I really recommend it. We saw many mantas and they came so close, I had to move out of the way because I didn’t want to touch them. A really unique experience! The group was cool - a mix between real professionals and total newbies.
All in all we really enjoyed our time there and recommend the place :) read less

It was simply stunning. Probably THE best week I had in a long time!
Kirill and Jan are both amazing instructors and I easily learned how to equalize better and really enjoyed the line training we had in the mornings of the first days! Started to really love freediving and will definitely do my certification while I am in Indonesia
We started the days with meditation/yoga and breathing exercises - many thanks to Kirill for that!

Everything was well organized and planned: from flights and hotels/homestays, special food requests and healthy breakfast options to day trips and fun diving adventures! Thank you Jan for all your magic you did in the background!

And the underwater world of Raja Ampat is simply stunning - often you could just dive off the beach/jetty of your homestay and see beautiful coral and so many fish. At one homestay we had sharks swimming by the common area my favorite was definitely seeing a Manta for the first time in my life at a dive site called Manta Sandy and thrifting along the stunning Cape Kri.

All in all, thanks to the beautiful nature, the great training and other inspiring guests it was definitely a week I will remember! read less

He was so kind, patient and encouraging. Nothing was a problem. I now feel far more confident underwater. I honestly didn’t think I would be able to do it. But with Artur’s support, the impossible was attainable. I am able to take the skills I have learnt here and apply them to many other things that benefit with good breath work, relaxation and courage. Thanks so much Artur and team ❤️ read less
