Freedive Trips to Bali
One of the things that make Freedive Nusa unique to other schools is that we not only focused on freediving courses and freediving training.
We give our students and guests fun traveling opportunities to apply their new knowledge and freediving skills while exploring the diversity of Indonesia’s underwater world during diving trips.
We invite you to join us on freediving and snorkeling trips around the Nusa Penida’s big brother – the island of Bali. North East and North coast of the island offer a wide variety of diving sites such as the very beautiful reefs of Amed area and Tulamben, the sunken ships Liberty Wreck and Boga Wreck, dolphins in Lovina, and sheer walls of Menjangan island.
We provide you with 3 options for traveling in Bali that differ in duration, locations, and routes. The travel program is flexible and can be changed according to the wishes and needs of participants so you will see the best places in Bali and the most beautiful ones which you are dreaming about.
Included in the trips
- Freedive sessions led by professional experienced freediving instructors
- An accompanying instructor and guide for the group throughout the travel program
- Accommodation in hotels (2 guests per room)
- Breakfasts (extra food is not included)
- All entrance tickets
- All transfers
- Rental of free diving equipment
The minimum group size is 4 people.
All three travel packages are available for free divers of any level from experienced divers to beginners. If you don’t have freediving experience and it will be your first time in open water, it is recommended to try Freediving Level 1 course in our freedive and yoga school on Nusa Penida and get your certification. During the trip, there will also be training sessions, but courses or classes are not available and best taken prior to the trip. The deepest accessible depths during these training sessions are 40 meters.
If you are not a freediver (or you have family who does not freedive), you can still get a trip and join us as a snorkeler. It will be interesting for any ocean lovers and you can see different marine life even while swimming on the surface. You will enjoy top beaches and bays of East_Bali, will meet Indonesian locals and will be experiencing their hospitality and foods, will be just trying freediving without making it too complicated and serious.

No, you don't need to be a freediver but this experience will be definitely beneficial. If you don't have an experience we highly recommend to come to Nusa Penida before the trip and take the basic course with us. It will give you much more freedom, confidence, and enjoyment. If your timing not allow you to come earlier, during the trip we can teach you some basics of freediving but it won't be a proper complete course.
